Many people believe that a weight loss workout plan involves hours and hours of exhaustive, grueling, exercise. In fact, most of the people that I speak with personally would prefer not to do any exercise at all. The real truth is that can’t achieve your weight loss goals by diet alone or taking a magic pill. Look on the container of any “magic weight loss pill” and read the disclaimer. Every one of them says that for their product to work, it must be a part of a regular exercise program. So, I’m sorry, you simply can’t get around the fact that you must exercise.
The good news, though, is that you can participate in a natural weight loss workout plan that isn’t a form of Medieval torture, is easy to maintain, and won’t eat up gobs of your valuable time.
Before beginning any weight loss plan, however, it is highly advisable for you to check with your doctor. Your doctor will determine how your body will respond to dietary changes and physical activity and can advise you accordingly.
Once your doctor clears you, you will want to hire an experienced professional to help you design and implement your weight loss workout. Make certain this person is credentialed and has the necessary training to advise you based on your needs and requirements and not the needs of some 300 pound bodybuilder.
To find a professional to assist you, you can hire a personal trainer at a local gym or have one come to your home and instruct you. While this is very beneficial, it is also very costly ($50 - $100 per hour depending on location) and time consuming considering travel time, preparation, etc.
Another option that is becoming more popular are the virtual or online fitness centers. Here you can join an online gym and receive highly specific instruction from an exercise professional all in the privacy of your own home or office. These gyms are affordable and don’t require large sacrifices of time, making them very attractive.
The third option is to participate in the Metamorphic Weight Loss walking program. This program incorporates a full body aerobic weight loss workout and doesn’t require computers, special exercise equipment, and only takes up 90 minutes of your time each week. It’s the program I’ve advised to my patients and weight loss clients and it’s the one I would encourage you to try.
